Your benefits don't end when you graduate!

    As a graduate of the University of Michigan-Flint, you have access to a host of resources and benefits. Upon graduation, you automatically become a member of the UM-Flint Alumni Society, no dues required. You also have lifetime access to membership in the University of Michigan Alumni Association, along with all of the benefits and resources listed here.     Career Services:

    As an alumna or alumnus, you are eligible to participate in all Career Service programs. Our Career services people will assist with your job search and/or career change.     Alumni Scholarship for Excellence:

    This scholarship was established by the University of Michigan-Flint Alumni Society to recognize academic achievement of dependent children, spouses or grandchildren of alumni. The scholarship is a non-renewable award. Students enrolled full-time in a degree program, whose parent, spouse or grandparent has received either an undergraduate or graduate degree from the University of Michigan-Flint are eligible. A 3.5 GPA is required with a minimum of 30 credits completed. Interviews by alumni may be required. For application details, visit the Office of Financial Aid homepage, or call (810) 762-3444.


    Computer Services:

    Alumni are eligible to purchase accounts, storage and e-mail services. For more information, please visit the ITS website or call (810)762-3123.


    Library:

    The Thompson Library is open to the general public and all resources may be used in the library. Alumni can purchase a 1-year borrower card ($125) to check out materials in the main collections of all three UM campuses. Borrower cards do not allow access to online electronic resources. The U-M Alumni Association offers off-campus access to selected electronic resources as a benefit of a paid association membership.     Golf Courses:

    The University of Michigan Golf Course is open to all University of Michigan Alumni. The course was designed in the late 1920s by Alister MacKenzie, one of golf's all-time greatest architects. Proof of graduation is required. For a tee time, contact the golf course directly at (734) 615-GOLF.


    University of Michigan Athletics Tickets:

    If you are interested in purchasing single game tickets, season tickets, or group tickets, we can help. Contact our office staff with your specific athletic ticket requests. 810-424-5450


    Room Rental Discounts:

    Need to host a special event? Alumni qualify for discounts on room rentals in several of our buildings. You can find out more about the discounts by visiting our Special Events for Alumni page or call Event and Building Services at (810)762-3436.


    UM-Flint Recreation Center:

    UM-Flint Alumni are eligible to purchase discounted memberships to the UM-Flint Recreation Center. For more information on alumni pricing, special programs, and Recreation Center features, visit their website.


    Signature Events:

    Throughout the year, the UM-Flint Alumni Relations department hosts several signature events to celebrate alumni success, raise money for students, and to rally around our sports teams. These events include Go Blue on the Bricks, the Distinguished Alumni Awards, game- parties and more.
